Interactive Community Policing VIP Program Calls for Volunteers

*Deter crime
*Impact crime by having citizens patrol their own neighborhoods
*Allow volunteers to report suspicious or criminal activity to Interactive Community
*Policing Officers (ICP) or 911 (if an emergency)
*Improve the quality of life
*Provide a safer environment for neighborhoods

Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S :
At least 21 years old
Must be a DeKalb County Resident
Complete a successful background check
Possess a valid Georgia Driver’s License
No moving violations in the last two (2) years
No prior Felony convictions
No Misdemeanor convictions in the last five (5) years
No DUI convictions in last 10 years
Successfully complete all required training
Proof of Auto Insurance

If you are interested in joining the VIP program you must fill out an application.
Applications are available at all five (5) precincts.

Please mail or deliver the completed application to the DeKalb County Police
Headquarters Building, Attention: ICP Administrative Office,
1960 West Exchange Place, Tucker, GA 30084
