Warmer weather has brought an influx of animals to LifeLine Animal Project’s DeKalb County Animal Services (DCAS), and hundreds of dogs, cats, puppies and kittens need loving homes. To save lives and encourage adoptions, LifeLine is waiving adoptions fees on all animals during their “Clear the Shelter” event now through Monday, August 26! The fee-waived adoptions include the pets’ spay/neuters, microchips and vaccinations at no additional cost!
During July, DCAS took in 870 animals. LifeLine is hopeful that DCAS’s Clear the Shelter event will be as successful as their June fee-waived event, where 265 animals found homes during a 10-day period.
