On Wednesday, August 5, 2020, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the DeKalb County Juvenile Court will host a virtual forum, “What To Do When You See Blue.” The forum, geared towards youth and families, will explore the best ways to engage law enforcement and to protect citizens’ civil rights and liberties. The goals of the forum are to promote solution-based dialogue and to ensure safer neighborhoods for all.
“What To Do When You See Blue” features an impressive panel of community leaders and experts: Defense Attorney Keith Adams, Congressman Hank Johnson, Sheriff Melody Maddox, Pastor Calvin McCoy, Jr., Police Chief Mirtha Ramos, and Civil Rights Attorney Chris Stewart. Judge Fatima El-Amin will moderate the discussion.
